Aggraria is not a traditional agricultural operator. It is a structure that combines scale, technology and data to manage and develop agricultural assets in an integrated way.
With over 20 years of experience in the Alentejo, we operate with the discipline of an industrial operator and the logic of an asset manager, ensuring control, consistency and performance at every stage of the operation.
EVOLUTION & MODEL
Aggraria was founded in 2003 with the acquisition of an estate in the Alentejo, marking the beginning of a journey of large-scale olive grove development and transformation.
Since then, it has grown in a structured manner, integrating all phases of the value chain: estate development, olive grove management, production and processing. Today, it manages thousands of hectares of irrigated olive groves, supported by technology, monitoring systems and an approach focused on long-term profitability and appreciation.

SHAREHOLDER
Since 2022, Aggraria has been majority-owned by the Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan (OTPP), one of the largest and most sophisticated institutional investors in the world, with over 250 billion Canadian dollars in assets under management.
The OTPP invests in long-term real assets across the infrastructure, natural resources and agriculture sectors, seeking operators with scale, operational discipline and sustainable growth potential.

Technical Director
I am responsible for overseeing all areas of Aggraria’s operations, as well as managing our client relationships. We have a highly qualified technical team dedicated to ensuring our olive groves produce premium-quality olives, always with a strong commitment to sustainability.

Head of Administration
Within our department, financial management, operational coordination, and resource optimization are the three key pillars that guide our daily work, both in supporting our clients and managing internal operations.

I am responsible for driving the company’s growth through strategic investments, including the acquisition of new estates for olive grove development and companies within the same sector. In addition, I lead the implementation and management of our Value Creation Plan, focusing on creating long-term value and promoting operational sustainability.
